If I had to place one annoyance at the top of my long list of annoyances that came with menopause, I would say not sleeping (it might be tied with weight gain). As I write this, It’s 5:45am. I’ve been awake since 2:30am trying to decide whether it would be better to get more sleep or get up and do some things. A mere three hours later, here we are.
It’s not just the inability to sleep. It’s the night sweats. And the anxiety. Reviewing every single thing you said to every person you encountered yesterday. And then the list of things you didn’t get done. Will you get them done today? Maybe if you got up now. But you’re so tired and you need sleep but you can’t anyway so you might as well get up but you’re so tired.
All this is to say that if this is your reality you might as well have some nice pajamas to keep you company.
They can’t be too heavy, lord knows, and personally I’m not one for clingy, slinky pajamas at this particular juncture in my life. I’m partial to 100% cotton fabric that keeps its shape and feels rather like men’s shirting.
Many of these styles you could even style up for wearing outside the house they’re so good. For now I’ll wear these to bed, and I’m pretty sure the menopausal woman on your list would love to as well.
Erdem Dillan print cotton pajamas, $212 (were $424!)
