16 ways to celebrate International Women’s Day in bed

knix international women's dayFor International Women’s Day, we’ve been on the lookout for campaigns and stories that feature women 50 and older, and we’re excited to report that we did not wind up empty handed. Far from it, we found a bevy of inspiring articles and features celebrating our 50-plus sisters.

Check them all out below—not all are specifically for 50-ish women, be we can still enjoy all of them. Or, you could just have sex 🙂

Lingerie brand Knix launched an incredible campaign (above) featuring women from 50-81. The tagline could not be better: “50 is the new ‘who gives a f*ck.”

Tory Burch is hosted a day of panels with Gloria Steinem, Ashley Judd and Time’s Up chief executive officer Tina Tchen, plus donated 100 percent of net proceeds from a limited-edition collection to support female empowerment and entrepreneurship.

The brand profiles 15 women to promote the campaign, including former Planned Parenthood president Cecile Richards.

Diane von Furstenberg, creator of the wrap dress and former designer-in-chief of the Council of Fashion Designers of America is partnering with Amazon to create Amazon x Women in Charge, a page that celebrates women in charge. Her brand, DVF, is also partnering with Amazon The brand is also offering 20% off full-price styles with code INCHARGE.

Alice + Olivia has teamed up with London-based artist Lakwena for a colorful collection promoting her powerful messages, with 10% proceeds going to LifeWay Network, an organization fighting to end human trafficking.

Saks Off 5th has partnered with Girls Inc. to create a $40 a gold vermeil chain necklace. 15% of proceeds will go to the organization.

Puma is giving away a free pair of purple shoelaces, and for every pair given away, the brand will donate 1 euro to Women Win. And for every unique Instagram post that includes a photo of the laces with the hashtag #PUMAWomen, Puma will donate an additional one euro to the organization.

Banana Republic is donating $100,000 to CARE, an organization that focuses on the advancement of women and girls around the world. Thanks for keeping it simple, BR.
